Arrival & Dismissal Procedures

Arrival

Doors open at 9:00am for students to start walking in. The first bell is at 9:10am, and class starts when the second bell rings at 9:15am.

If you have a child who has a classroom on the 2nd floor (the floor that the Main Office is on), your child will enter and exit through the front doors.

If you have a child who has a classroom on the 1st floor (the floor that the playground is on), your child will enter and exit through the back doors closest to the MPR (multi-purpose room also known as the lunch room).

Parents are not allowed in the building to walk their child/ren to class.

Walking, Biking, Scooter

There are bike racks available, but kids need their own lock if they want to lock up their bikes.

Driving

Students can be dropped off in the Curbside Drop-Off Lane. To keep the line moving, please pull ahead and have your students exit the curbside ONLY after you have reached the crosswalk in the parking lot. Drivers should not park or exit their vehicle in the Curbside Drop-Off Lane. If your student needs more assistance, please park in the parking lot or on the street outside the school and walk with or direct your student to the door they enter.

Dismissal

Students will be dismissed by their teacher at 3:40pm (1:30pm on Wednesdays). Please let your student know where you will meet them for pickup. Adults may wait on the sidewalk or by the flagpole, at their car in the parking lot, or in the Curbside Drop-Off Lane . Do not line up in the mid section of the parking lot. This is for thru traffic ONLY. Please use the Curbside Drop-Off Lane or park your vehicle. When using the Curbside Drop-Off Lane, please pull forward as the line moves to reduce the backups in the entrance to the lot and on Park Drive.

Welcome Back Grizzly Volunteers!

We are excited to have volunteers back on campus this year! The first opportunity is for a few volunteers the first week of school to point students in the right direction. Sign up for one or more shifts using this link.

And please share your interest on our General Interest - Volunteer Opportunities form. From helping out at a recess event to leading a monthly art lesson to dropping off food for a staff breakfast, we have many different opportunities of varying time commitments throughout the year.

Order your Grizzly Gear!

The Grizzly Gear store is open for orders through September 11. Grizzly Gear is a great way to show off your school spirit! Orders will be delivered to your student at school in late September/early October. Click here to place your order.
