2.  WEEKEND/EVENT ATTENDANCE: Kids are expected to attend weekend  or weeknight service project events. Dates to be determined. While we understand children have other obligations, K-Kids is also a commitment and must be a priority for your child. Attendance at 6 or more monthly meeting and 6 or more weekend/weeknight events is REQUIRED.

3.  DISCIPLINE: Good character and respecting leaders are two important tenets of K-Kids. We do not expect to have discipline issues during K-Kids meetings/events. However, if your child views K-Kids as a play date or day care service, this is not the club for them! Children who misbehave will be asked to leave the meeting/event and will not be permitted to attend any future events/meetings. Please speak to your child about this expectation before our first meeting.

4.  PARENTS ARE INVOLVED: Parents, we cannot do K-Kids without your assistance.  Therefore, YOU are required to sign up to attend at least one service project and/or help in a monthly meeting. I will need each parent to drive their student to and from our service projects. I will also need at least 1 parent to help in each monthly meeting. I know parents are very busy which is why we will offer a variety of times to assist. I will send out a sign up sheet for you to sign up for a time slot. Ultimately, the goal is to serve and volunteer to make a difference in the community. This is just a starting point and the hope is that we can have more families be involved in the community and volunteering. You are more than welcome to bring other siblings as long as you volunteer and watch them.
